Dr Ana Mraković

Dr. Ana Mraković, PhD in Physical Chemistry, a Senior Research Associate (since 2020.) at VINS.

She received her BSc and PhD degrees in Physical Chemistry at University of Belgrade – Faculty of Physical Chemistry in 2005 and 2013, respectively. During the past years, she has been developing her scientific potentials and appropriate competencies through participation in the FP6 (INCO 2006-2009, as a research trainee) and FP7 (MAGBIOVIN 2013-2019, post-doctoral training under the supervision of Dr. Davide Peddis (ISM CNR) programs proposed by the European Commission. She was also involved in the realization of two national projects, one COST action (MP1308 TO-BE, as an early-stage researcher), several bilateral projects while recently she took participation in the proof of concept type of project (PoC). Her research field encompasses the development and characterization of magnetic nanomaterials and nanocomposites for diverse applications, physical chemistry of condensed matter, testing and improving the sorption properties of economical waste materials which is accompanied by suitable materials characterization using the instrumental techniques: XRD, FTIR Spectroscopy, and SQUID magnetometry. The previous research by dr Mraković was published in the form of 28 publications (h-index = 7) that was cited 127 times (self-citations of all authors excluded), Scopus Author ID: 23051613200.
