Dr. Tanja Barudzija

Dr. Tanja Barudžija, PhD in Physical Chemistry, a Research Associate at VINS.

She received her BSc degree in Physics in 2005 at University of Novi Sad – Faculty of Natural Sciences, and PhD degree in Physical Chemistry in 2018 at University of Belgrade – Faculty of Physical Chemistry. During the past years, she has been engaged in two national projects and two bilateral projects. Her research field encompasses the synthesis of rare earth and transition metals based magnetic systems (mixed oxides and fluorides, perovskites, titanium oxides and manganese dioxides), crystal structure analysis of polycrystalline samples based on X-ray powder diffraction method, refinement of the crystal structure by the Rietveld profile method, structure analysis of polycrystalline samples based on Raman scattering spectroscopy and Infrared spectroscopy measurements, investigation of magnetic properties.
