Dr. Bratislav Antic

Dr. Bratislav Antić has been employed at the VINS since 1989, currently as a Principal Research Fellow (since 2008).

He finished bachelor studies at Faculty of Physics in 1988, MSc in 1992, and obtained a PhD title at the same Faculty in 1998, at the Department of Condensed Matter Physics. In the field of magnetic materials, his interests include studying physical properties of nanoparticle’s systems such as anisotropy, interparticle interactions, exchange bias, magnetic relaxations, photoluminescence, size effects on magnetic properties, etc. He has gained experience in the crystal structure and microstructure investigation by X-ray and electron diffraction. Most of his recent research work is dedicated to nanoparticle magnetic materials based on transition metals widely used for biomedical and environmental applications (iron oxide nanoparticles, ferrites). He has experience in research management, especially in managing multidisciplinary projects. He acted as a coordinator of FP7-EraChair project, EUREKA project, and more than 10 other international projects with a total budget of around €3.5 M. Besides, he participated in managing FP6-INCO project, SCOPES project, as well as Join research project with China. He is author and co-author of 83 peer-reviewed articles (h-index = 20, number of citations more than 1000). List of publications available at https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5693-6401.
